Rachad Kanawati has a cultural interest in various fields, particularly literature and film. With his online bookstore Alam Alkutub ("World of Books"), he is committed to making Arabic literature accessible in Switzerland. He is a founding member of the IAFFZ association and has been actively involved in various capacities since 2008. He believes that cultural exchange is a means to understanding and peaceful coexistence.
