Volunteer Management
Daniela Bretscher, born in Zurich in 1966, trained and graduated as a journalist at the School of Applied Linguistics (SAL). She spent several years working for various local newspapers. After training as a dance teacher at the Tanzwerkstatt Konstanz, she worked at the Konstanz Theatre and moved from there to Berlin, where she studied Art History and Cultural Studies, graduating with an MA.
During the ten years she lived in Berlin, she always worked as a student trainee, including for Cinemarketing AG, the Jazzfest Berlin and the Berliner Festspiele. From 2001 to 2002, she was Head of Marketing at the Schauspielhaus Zürich.
Since 2003, she has been working as a communications consultant at her own agency. From 2019 to 2021, she completed a postgraduate course in Applied Art Studies at the Swiss Institute for Art Research (SIK-ISEA) and the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK), graduating with a CAS.
She is in charge of volunteer management at the Arab Film Festival Zurich.
