Once Upon a Time in Beirut (Kanya Ya Ma Kan, Beyrouth)

Two young women want to rediscover the legendary beauty of their hometown, Beirut. Farouk, an old cinema owner, tells them about Beirut’s glorious cinematographic past and screens clips from Lebanese film history as well as international productions. Filmmaker Jocelyn Saab launched a campaign to save the Lebanese Film Archive. This blend of narration and archival clips is her declaration of love for cinema.
