1982
At a private school near Beirut at the time of the launch of Israel’s 1982 invasion of Lebanon, 11-year-old Wissam tries to tell a classmate that he likes her, while his teachers, on different sides of the political divide, feel the mounting pressure as they try to make sure the children are safe.
